Vaijnanika Shanmukham in Kannada by Professor Y.S.Gayatri
Professor Pullelu Ramachandrudu, retired Professor and Head of the Sanskrit Department, of Osmania University in Hyderabad and recipient of President’s Certificate of Honour in Sanskrit, had written the book entitled, “Vaijnanika Shanmukham”, in chaste Sanskrit. This book was published by Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (Deemed University), way back in 1996, as part of its Silver Jubilee Publication Series. I was greatly impressed by the profound research based information contained in this book, on the life and scientific contributions, made by select six Rishi Scientists of ancient India, viz. Panini (7th century B.C.), Kanada (6th Century B.C.), Kautilya (4th Century B.C.), Aryabhatta (5th Century A.D.), Varahamihira (5th-6th Century A.D.), and Bhaskaracharya (12the Century A.D.).
